Rose produced a popular set showing the American Great White Fleet's visit. Two of Rose's images showed the parade in Martin Place, Sydney. A similar image taken from the identical vantage point was produced as Keystone 15924—Procession of Marines from United States Fleet Passing the Post Office in Martin's Place, Sydney, Australia, then later as 19103 with a deceptive title attributing it to the World War.

	Keystone 15924—Procession of Marines from United States Fleet Passing the Post Office in Martin's Place, Sydney, Australia, later renumbered 19103 and retitled Our Allies Welcoming American Boys Across the Water. The half of a Keystone stereoview had an aspect ratio of .98, while that of a Rose stereoview was about .9. This accounts for the slightly different apparent sizes. The negative was cropped a bit differently. Note the large column on the left visible in both Rose images has been cropped out in the Keystone view. The positions of items and people within the photos show all three images were taken from the same place.

The similarities of the images make it highly probable that Rose took all three stereoviews. He sold one to Keystone that he did not use in his own set. After the war, Rose sold several thousand stereo negatives to Keystone, which selected a few for its definitive 1932 World War set, but this Great White Fleet example suggests there was a business relationship many years earlier.
